CBD and Anxiety - Help can it help you?
Anxiety? CBD oil helps you calm her down.
Anxiety has become, in these times, one of the main modern diseases that affects human beings, mainly due to frequent and continuous exposure to stressful stimuli.
The therapeutic properties of CBD oil are many, for certain conditions and ailments. Medical cannabis is increasingly used in the world, and more and more properties of the compounds that make up this plant are being discovered.
There are hundreds of chemical components in cannabis, called phytocannabinoids. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of the best known for its therapeutic effects and because it is not a psychoactive substance, as is THC or tetrahydrocannabinol, which is responsible for the recreational use of the plant.
Cannabinol, or CBN, and cannabichromeo or CBC, are other lesser-known phytocannabinoids that also have anti-inflammatory, sedative, analgesic or anticonvulsant properties.
Studies of the medical effects of CBD have been conducted, and confirmed results have been obtained on the use of this substance for the effective treatment of certain diseases, such as epilepsy, arthritis, fibromyalgia, sleep disorders or anxiety.
CBD oil for anxiety
CBD has analgesic, anxiolytic, and calming properties that influence the central nervous system. When a generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) or even a panic attack occurs, frequently associated with the suffering of anxiety, cannabidiol works by lowering the heart pressure and demonstrating a relaxation effect.
One of its most outstanding properties is its sedative capacity, which immediately relieves pain, but also fights anxiety because it calms the central nervous system through its action on the endocannabinoid system present in the human body.
It interacts with different receptors that are coupled to G proteins and that are located in the central and peripheral nervous system. There is a receptor, TRPV1, which is activated by CBD and decisively influences the perception of pain, body temperature and inflammation.
As an antagonist of the 5-HT1 receptor, CBD also regulates the expression of serotonin in the central nervous system, thus reducing levels of anxiety and depression.
The problem with research on cannabis is that its legality has not yet been defined, both in Spain and in Europe, although the WHO recommended that the UN in 2019 remove it from list IV of psychoactive substances and put it on the list Me, with fewer restrictions. All due to the therapeutic properties of medical cannabis.
Its beneficial effects on the human organism are undoubted, although there is still a lack of legal marijuana, and this is attested by the studies carried out, since they suggest that treatments with CBD oil for cases of anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress they are very effective.
The influence on the central nervous system through the coupling of the receptors of the endocannabinoid system is decisive for the oil to work, whose anxiolytic and analgesic properties contribute to the relief of neuropathic pain and in the effective reduction of anxiety symptoms.
Just a small drop of this oil under the tongue, or added to food, is enough for the anxiety to start to disappear.
